Hi, I’m Jada—so nice to e-meet you!

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Southern Maryland, I’ve always had a love for creativity. What started as winning a winter landscape design contest in second grade, selling handmade jewelry at the age of 9, building my first website in middle school, designing graphic and paraphernalia at my college campus, planning and designing my older sister’s baby shower in 2017— is a reflection of my passion for design, community, and celebrating life’s milestones.

My journey has been anything but ordinary—I’ve explored nursing, real estate, property management, corporate engagement and more, but my heart has always returned to creativity and bringing people together. Even having a birthday on December 25th, shaped my love for celebrations—inspiring me to venture out and turn special moments into unforgettable memories. I truly believe I was born for this.

Over the years, that passion has evolved into DMV Occasions—a space where I get to transform blank spaces into experiences that tell a story. To specialize in design details that make events unforgettable: the atmosphere, the textures, the colors, the little touches guests never forget. For me, event design is more than décor—it’s about creating a feeling. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, my goal is to blend beauty and heart so that each of your guest can walk away with a lasting memory.
